Physician Recruiting

Due to construction of the KIA automotive plant scheduled to open in 2009, Lanier Memorial Hospital has increased its physician recruiting efforts.  The KIA plant will be located approximately 7 miles from the hospital.

The hospital is currently recruiting the following physicians:

• Internist - One of the present internists is planning retirement and would like to find someone to assume his 25+-year practice.
  
  
• ENT - Present ENT is planning retirement and would like to find someone to assume his 25-year practice.
  
  
• Urologist - Recruiting a urologist to establish a solo practice, sharing call with a urologist from nearby LaGrange, Georgia.
  
  
• General Surgeon - Retirement of one of our General Surgeons is anticipated in the summer of 2007.  We are recruiting a General Surgeon to establish a solo practice and share call with two remaining General Surgeons.  Existing office space available in our Medical Park.
  
  
• Cardiologist
  
  
• OB/Gyn - Recruiting a fourth OB/Gyn to establish a solo practice, sharing call with three current OB/Gyns.
